Welcome to DIY Weddings!

January 1, by Kimberly Jones. 7 Comments

The first day of a brand new year is the perfect time to introduce a new category on Craft Gossip: DIY Weddings! My name is Kimberly Jones and I am thrilled to join Craft Gossip as its newest editor.  A wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I want to fill this blog with creative ideas, inspiration, and resources to help you make your special day truly your own.

Winter has settled in to stay in my part of the world and the skies are gray and cloudy, so I thought I would start things off with a cheerful splash of color!

Pantone has revealed the color of the year for 2011 and it’s Honeysuckle!  A vibrant shade of pink, Honeysuckle is already popping up everywhere. Michelle of My Personal Artist created the gorgeous inspiration board above combining honeysuckle pink with beeswax yellow and coral rose orange, a happy melange of hues sure to banish the winter blues!
